How Does Your Work Enable You to Connect to and Fulfill Your Life Purpose/Passion?

Working to increase awareness of the differences that make up the world by educating the youth and Walpole community is more than fulfilling. I’ve always been passionate about helping others and this work allows me to make real tangible change in my community and beyond.

Who Is Your Ideal Client and Why?

People of all ages who are open minded, willing to learn and “get uncomfortable” with the goal of learning about all cultures and experiences.

What Unique Offerings Do You Provide?

The opportunity to volunteer with a dedicated and committed team to support learning about diversity and the underrepresented groups of Walpole, MA while also celebrating those groups through diverse book donations and other community cultural events.

Who Was Your Role Model Growing Up? How Did That Person’s Actions Impact You?

The women in my family were my role models growing up. Almost all were single mother’s who made sure the kids had everything needed. I saw great work ethics and learned about how to have thick skin and never give up, there is always a way.

A park early in the morning.

1. Massage.

3. Mani-pedi.

How Do You Express Yourself Creatively?

Through journaling, although I haven’t done it in a while.

Last Memorable Book You Read and Why?

“Year of Yes” by Shonda Rhimes is the book that reminded me that this is my time and I need to push myself into an uncomfortable place to get to where I want to be. She also talks about the “superwoman” pose (which works) and that when people ask you “How do you do it all?” you are honest about how things are not perfect and there are areas of my life that are behind. Truth in this work is important.

Favorite Movie and Why?

E.T. First memory of going to the movies with my mom.

I’m a firm believer in the power of speaking what you want and what we say will eventually manifest. I speak my needs and wants out loud to help keep my goals in mind.

Accomplishment Are You Most Proud of?

Outside of my family, I’m most proud of founding a Non-profit organization.

Best Lesson Learned in Life So Far?

Having dreams and aspirations are great but action is the only way to get things done.
